Our client is an acute care general hospital providing comprehensive services for patients except in the areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

This 400-bed hospital is located in the West of Singapore. Nestled in a 110,000 sqm land, the hospital is a picture of tranquil setting, lined with mostly colonial style buildings built since the late 1930's. 

The hospital is in a state of transition as it prepares for taking the reins of the new Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in Yishun to better serve residents from the Northern region of Singapore. Spanning over 3.4 hectares, the new 550-bed hospital will offer a comprehensive range of medical and healthcare services.

This client has requested that we seek expressions of interest in the position of Consultant in Accident and Emergency seeking a tenure for a minimum of two years, preferably three.  Good salary and conditions on offer including relocation assistance and bonus scheme.

Requirements:

MBBS or equivalent, with relevant postgraduate qualification such as MRCEM, MRCP, Board Certification in Emergancy Medicine or equivalent, registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
Must have completed a recognised Advanced Specialist Training programme and be eligible to be included in the Singapore Medical Council's Specialist Register.
Patient focused and oriented, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be willing to work shifts and on weekends and public holidays.
