They are committed to ongoing development of a modern community based service and seeking to employ you, if you are suitably experienced as a Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine

Opened in 2004, this regional hospital has just under 200 beds and features cutting edge medical imaging technology including the latest MRI, CT and Ultrasound capability and a Digital Radiology system (PACS).  A fully integrated iSOFT patient administration system is currently being implemented. The hospital enables staff to offer contemporary clinical practice together with enhanced diagnostics and technology, resulting in better health outcomes for the community.

Salaries are based on your experience, and you can earn between around NZ$88,000 - NZ$140,000 plus allowances and leave for continuing medical education.

Located in the South Island, this region offers a wide range of recreational activities.  It is home to two of New Zealand's national parks offering opportunities for tramping, internationally acclaimed fishing and a wide range of outdoor pursuits.
